God's Light House For the Light of Christ To Shine Forth To All.
With His Light in our Lives, We would Show Everyone Jesus.
John 15:9-12 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Is there a greater joy than having Jesus in your heart and letting Jesus take complete control of your life? I find no other way to be safe in Jesus, than to follow the Holy Spirit and let Him place that joy into my heart on a daily basis. If we are true to our Lord and Savior Jesus we will want and need Him everyday of our lives. As we feel the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit bringing us ever closer in our relationship with Jesus we feel a need to respond in every way to seek to please Him and go with Him wherever He would want to take us. The love grows deeper everyday we spend with Jesus.
The Word of God is clear to show us that Christians are the espoused bride to be of Jesus. As the Bridegroom Jesus loves us with a love that no other man ever loved the one he was to marry. For what He did for us to redeem us from the world of our sin, we can never repay or does He ever expect our repayment. All He asks us to do is Love Him with all of Our Heart, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as our self. This is not much to ask. As people are continually bound by sin, we should consider that He set us free from sin and we should be so grateful to Him for the suffering He did and the blood He shed for us that covers our sin. In our gratefulness to Him we must live a clean and pure life like we would be the clean and purified virgin that is worthy to be the espoused bride of the Greatest King that there is and ever shall be.
We see in the Book of Esther, that not only did she save the Jews in the Kingdom of Ahasuerus, but it is shown that all the virgins that were the King's property had to go through a purification process. (Esther 2:12 Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;) It was important that no unclean virgin was to come in unto the great king. This is the only instance in the Bible that shows a purification that virgins must go through to come into the presence of the king. There is also a purification process that we as the espoused bride to be must go through before we may come into the presence of the Greatest King of them all. If we have the Holy Spirit leading us all the way, we will be purified in our thinking, our heart, mind and body for He will show us the Word of God and how we are to take it into our hearts and Love Him with a pure and unadulterated Love.
I believe too many of us do not consider this when we want to be a Christian. Jesus is the Greatest King of all the Kingdoms of the earth for He is not of the earth, but of Heaven and in the Realm of the Spiritual Kingdom. We as believers in this Great King should not take our salvation so lightly as to think that we can get away with continued sin and be in the presence of the Great King. His Holy Spirit of Truth should be within each of us as each true Christian has Him in their inner most being with Power. For if He has Power over us He will lead us into the Righteousness of Jesus. When He has this Power over us to direct our minds and hearts to Jesus, He expects us to keep ourselves clean and pure from all of the world that the Word of God speaks to our hearts about.
Jesus came and did the first act of dying for us when He shed His Holy Blood for us to make us clean and pure from sin and the world. We should be so gracious as to not grieve the Holy Spirit so that He can take control of our lives and teach us the Righteousness of Jesus. We should consider this very much as we want to only please Him and keep ourselves pure for Him alone.
This is what He intended for us in order for us to be acceptable to the True and Holy God of Heaven. We must be made new and clean, and pure to live a sinless life in Jesus. In this new life we have joy, peace and contentment no matter what comes our way. With sin continuing though, it cannot be anything but guilt, sorrow and pain. "I Would Rather Have Jesus," as the song goes, than anything this world has to offer. I want Jesus everyday so that as another song goes "Every Day With Jesus is Sweeter Than The Day Before."
Everyday With Jesus
Yes everyday with Jesus
Is greater and sweeter for all of us
Who believe and trust only in Him.
For with Jesus in our heart
His Blood covers our sin;
And His Light in us never grows dim.
