Jesus Is Our Bread From Heaven,

When We Surrender To Him And Allow Him To Enter Our Heart,
We Grow Spiritually By His Way of Feeding Us His Goodness Of His Love. The Water of His Word Also Purifies us From the World.

John 6:32-40 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

In the Old Testament when the children of Israel were forty years in the wilderness they had little to eat and sometimes nothing to drink.   Without God they would have perished.  Even though they were a stiff necked and rebellious people, God still supplied their needs.  They were fed Manna from Heaven every day, and at times they received their water from a Rock.  Both their food and their water came from the Heavenly source.  It came from Jesus and it was life for them.  It could be said that with God in their midst His Power sustained them even so much as to understand that their clothing and shoes didn't even wear out.  (Deuteronomy 29:5) They had no sickness except the plagues that were brought upon themselves with their own disobedience to God.
John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. This life sustaining Power for God's own people is a Wonderful thing.  The food and drink for His earthly people were both from the Heavenly source.  In the wilderness journey His earthly people the Jews were given manna from Heaven and the water from the Rock that was life sustaining on this earth.  In the New Testament Jesus was trying to get it across to the people that when He is in their midst He is also life sustaining, but in a Spiritual sense.  When Jesus came to be among His people they were to receive Spiritual food to grow in His way.  His Word was to feed the people in a Spiritual way of His Goodness of His Love.  He brought this Spiritual food down from His Father in Heaven.  He referred to His Word as the same as Manna from Heaven.  It is to be received as His Holy Spirit of Truth gives it when we take Jesus by faith.  He referred to the life sustaining water as His Living Water that flows from Him to give eternal life to all of those who will drink of His cleansing Water of His Word and receive His Eternal Life.
Without His Life Sustaining Manna and Living Water of the Word that the Holy Spirit leads us into, and seals into each of our hearts every day of our lives, there is no salvation. For the only purity that we may have is in the Word of God that washes us and cleanses us from the world around us.  Jesus is the Word of God and the Holy Spirit seals this wonderful Word in our hearts forever.
