The Still Small Voice Of God

I Bow To His Majesty, Jesus, For He Is
My King of Kings and Lord of Lords

His hand is the hand of a ready writer.  The Word of God, Jesus, His Truth of His Holy Love is written in my heart by His Hand alone; and I hear what He has to say to my heart, for Jesus is Lord of my whole complete being.  Praise, honor, and Glory unto you Lord, for I know you guide my heart and mind in what you have for me each day of my life.  Thank you Jesus.  Just thanks for every good and perfect thing you have given me.  Thank you Lord for your still small voice speaking your perfect Holy Love to my heart.  I remain in awe of your Glorious Majesty as your Gentle Presence and Power lets me know to Be Still And Know You Are God.  Amen.

Think About Jesus And Love Him More

A good writer can only write what he knows best:
And so I write of Jesus, and I give out the best I can:
The Revelations of Jesus throughout the Old
And New Testaments came only from Him and not from man.
I write nothing for profit or gain.
I write only what I have experienced and what has on
My heart been lain.
I write only for those to think about our Savior more
And receive Him by His Holy Spirit of Truth that doth pour
Out upon His own, the True Power of God
To deliver, heal, and bring all unto His Knowledge of
His Wonderful Loving heart by His Holy Word.

A Still Small Voice,
Be Still, And Know I Am God....

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

All throughout my life I have heard many people preach on the subject of the human side of Elijah and how he ran for his life, wavering in his faith as he was afraid of Jezebel.  The story of Elijah seems to be a favorite topic for discussion regarding faith and how we should learn to have faith.  A very important thing should be realized here, as recorded in the Word of God: Elijah appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, as the men of God appear throughout Isreal’s history for very important missions for God.  Elijah was the chosen vessel of God to carry out the Word of the Lord.  The Word of the Lord is the most important point to remember.  For the Lord spoke to Elijah for him to know what to do and where to go for safety in the beginning.  Then there is a time when the Lord will try all hearts to see how men will seek Him further.  In fear Elijah ran, but he reached out to God in the only way he knew how for he had no Word of God bringing the Presence and Power of God in him at that particular time.  With his own strength and might he ran, but it is very important to note where  he ran, for he ran towards God or where he knew God dwelt, at Horeb, the Mount of God.
After a day’s journey into the wilderness he was exhausted, without food and water, and it would seem that he must have felt so alone without the Word of the Lord.  Elijah sat down under a juniper tree; and he requested of the Lord that he might die.  He said, “It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.” This scripture is found in I Kings 19:1-4.  The Lord did not speak to Elijah at that time, but while he slept, the Angel of the Lord came and baked cakes for him and gave him water.  The angel touched him, awakened him and gave him food and drink from heaven.  Elijah laid down to rest again and the Angel of the LORD came again the second time and touched him, and said: “Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.”  Elijah then arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights into Horeb, the Mount of God.  This is found in I Kings 19:5-8.  This is something wonderful and very interesting.  The food the angel gave Elijah to eat, before he continued his journey, was enough to sustain him for forty days and forty nights.  There is something about what the heavenly provides that is wonderfully sustaining to those bodies that partake of this food and water.  The children of Israel also partook of food from Heaven, Jesus; and water from the Rock, Jesus.  They were also wonderfully sustained in all their journeys without a foot swelling and even their shoes and clothing did not wear out for forty years in the wilderness. The Tabernacle of the Lord was in their midst and the Wonderful sustaining Power of God was there for them.
Elijah reached the Mount of God and went into a cave for lodging at the top of the mount.  The Lord asked him what he was doing there.  He said, “I have been very jealous for the LORD God  of Hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” This is found in I Kings 19:9-10.
The Word of the Lord spoke to Elijah and the Lord told Elijah to go outside.  As the Lord passed by, His Majesty, Power, and Presence was so overwhelming, a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke the rocks to pieces before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: and after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.  This is found in I Kings 19:11-12.
Notice something: The Power of God is so great the earthly elements move, melt, and broke in pieces when He passed by.  The Spirit of the Lord is the Power of God.  The Spirit of the Lord is in His Word, Jesus, for the never changing Word of God has always been, and ever shall be, Jesus.  What ever He speaks comes to pass.  The Lord gave Elijah the Word.  Elijah, with the Spirit of God upon his being, and not in his own power and strength, but with the Power of God, fulfilled the Word of the Lord to the Letter.  He was to anoint Hazael to be king over Syria; and anoint Jehu to be king over Israel; and anoint Elisha to be the prophet in His Room.  This is found in I Kings 19:15-16.
All of the Word of God should be fulfilled in each life now as each one accepts Jesus as his own personal Savior, and receives the Holy Spirit.  Each one who receives the Holy Spirit, and walks after the Holy Spirit, yielding to this wonderful Gentle Third Person of the Trinity, is anointed and receives the Power of God with Truth as He speaks the Still Small Voice of the Word of God to each heart.  Those who keep clean with an obedient heart of Love hear this still small voice and receive the Holy Word, Jesus, even more.  For we can only be accepted of the Father as the Holy Spirit of truth seals Jesus, the Word of God, in our hearts and we receive the constant covering of the Holy Blood of this Wonderful HOLY LAMB Of GOD.  It is important to keep in mind: The Lord is always in His Word and His Word is Power.  His Power is so gentle to all those who love Him enough to be receptive to His Still Small Voice.  After Elijah sought the Lord with all His strength and might, and afterward was obedient to fulfill the Word of the Lord, he was never without the Word of the Lord again.  He was also never without the Power of God in every instance of his life after he came from Horeb, the Mount of God.  I believe he had to be, in this instance, in the Power and Presence of God before he was anointed to receive Power from upon High.  He had this Power always with him even until he was taken up alive to be always with the Lord.
I believe with all of my heart, this instance in the life of Elijah is also likened unto the obedient living body of Christ.  For each part of His Body, each living and breathing vibrantly alive born again Christian that has an ear to hear what the Holy Spirit has to say to him personally, lovingly lets his heart be receptive to His Word so he may receive all that Jesus has for him of His Blessings of His Wonderful Love and Holy Grace.  Each one may also expect His tender Mercies of Miracles when he prays.  Gifts of the Spirit are also very evident in the lives of those who believe in the Wonderful Holy Word, Jesus.  When they let His Holy Spirit seal Jesus, the Holy Word of God in their hearts, they will have the Power of God to do His Wonderful works and to sustain them until they also are taken up, whether they be dead in Christ, or alive when they meet Him in the air.

Elijah’s Mantle And The Anointed Of God

Except for the Power of God that was upon Moses’ Rod, there is something that has never appeared before with any man of God.  Elijah’s mantle has the Power of God upon it.  When Elijah was fulfilling God’s Word to anoint Elisha he passed by Elisha, plowing in the field, he cast his mantle upon Elisha.  There was no communication between Elijah and Elisha, but Elisha knew by the Spirit of God that was upon the mantle, that he was to follow Elijah.  He ran after Elijah and said, Let me kiss my father and mother, and then I will follow thee.  Elijah said, Go back again: for what have I done to thee.  This is found in I Kings 19:19-20.
This is something very wonderful.  The Spirit of God is upon the mantle and the mantle is cast upon Elisha.  Immediately, without any man speaking to him, Elisha knew that he should follow Elijah.  I believe Elijah did not know Elisha at the time.  The Spirit of God led Elijah to Elisha, for out of the twelve men plowing, Elisha being the twelfth in the field, the Spirit of God bade Elijah to cast the mantle upon this certain farmer’s son.  Casting the mantle upon Elisha was the anointing.  Elisha was the chosen of God, the anointed of God, and from that point on he knew what to do.  He was to follow the man of God as he was led by the Spirt of God.  This is so wonderful and it shows the true way the Holy Spirit works His Wonderful Works in peoples’s lives as they believe in Jesus when the Holy Spirit falls upon them.  The Word of the Lord says, not by the power of men, and not by their own might, but by the Spirit of God, do men know to follow Jesus.  Just as Elijah was taken up, those who follow Jesus will also be taken up to ever be with Him in all of His Glory.
In that day, the sons of the prophets knew Elijah was going to be taken up, and they kept asking Elisha: “Doesn’t he know the Lord is going to take Elijah up that day?”  The sons of the prophets also kept their eyes toward where Elijah and Elisha traveled so they would maybe catch sight of the Lord taking Elijah up.  I would ask the same question: Don’t you know the Lord is going to take everyone who is obedient in His Love up to meet Him in the clouds today?  We are to be that ready and expect Him today.  In His Word Jesus said, He will come as a thief in the night and everyone should keep themselves always ready for Him.  As we walk after the Holy Spirit in all that He leads us, we yield to Him to show us how we are to keep ready for Jesus to call us up to Him.  Notice: Elijah had the Spirit of God upon Him and He was taken up.  Some day soon those who are following after the Holy Spirit for Him to keep them in the obedient love of Jesus will be caught up just like Elijah was caught up.
I would ask the question: Where is the Power of God today in people’s lives?  Those who go by His name should have the Word of God bringing the Power of God into their lives and into all that surround them.  All are supposed to seek Jesus further for His Holy Spirit Power to show everyone the Great and Wonderful Works of God: with signs and wonders taking place in every work they do.  The signs and wonders will always Glorify Jesus in every way.  Miracles of God are supposed to be with everyone who believes in Jesus.  Jesus spoke His Word to be fulfilled in each one of us.  He said, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. This is found in the Gospel of John 14:12.
Even though each soul that is saved is the greater miracle, Jesus also said that those who follow Him will be known by great signs and wonders.  For His Holy Spirit Power should be within and surrounding each Christian to perform that which would Glorify Jesus in each of their lives. It should not just be in preaching and teaching, but with miracles of healing and also all other things that cannot possibly come about by any other means than by the power of God.  I also must add: The miracles of God are not what man performs in his own power and strength, such as medical experimentation, man’s own accomplishments in the ever changing science, and what everyone likes to think of as knowledge for the betterment of mankind.  For all of these accomplishments are temporary and imperfect and are always changing when knowedge changes and everything is updated to try and reach some kind of perfection.  Notice one thing: When new discoveries are made, they are made in the name of a man or a group of men.  As soon as new discoveries are made available they are almost always obsolete within a short time.  Man’s new discoveries as imperfect as they also always are, are always ready to take the place of the once new discovery.
Men have tried to change and update the Word of God also.  It started way back, even in the Apostles day, when certain men tried to change He who is perfect, Jesus, into what comes from the religious imaginations of the imperfections of men.  These imperfections even hang on yet today in a great portion of man made religious organizations who do not have the Spirit of the Lord and His Power Glorifying and lifting the name of Jesus higher than any name in Heaven and on the earth.
Others have tried so hard to change the old translations of the scriptures into our modern way of speaking, bringing The Word “more up to date” so the Word is “more easily understood.”  It would seem though that each more modern way of saying something seems to lose more than it gains.  For I have looked into the more modern way of saying certain things in the different translations of the Word of God, and even though some things seem to be explained better there seems to be other things that men have changed to their own way of incorporating their own earthly thoughts that definitely change meanings of certain words and phrases.  This is expected to give the more perfect way of understanding the old oracles of God.  I have found a more perfect way: For with prayer and praise and keeping nothing ahead of Jesus in my life, the Holy Spirit of Truth keeps Jesus, the Truth of the Word sealed in my heart everyday of my life.  In this way the Holy Spirit gives a more complete and better understanding of the Truths of God that are found in the Word of God.  He also Comforts my heart, and lets me know Jesus personally.  No modern way of understanding the word of God has ever been found to take the place of knowing Jesus personally.  For Jesus is the only one who speaks to our hearts through His Holy Spirit of Truth so we may keep His Commandment of Love forever sealed in our heart by Holy Spirit Power.
