WALK PERFECT WITH GOD
IN HIS PERFECT LOVE....
I would like to make it clear that to walk perfect with God in His Perfect Love is a challenge to all people seeking to have God’s Love come into their heart. It is a challenge of progressive Spiritual learning, letting God’s loving way or the Holy Love of Jesus come into their heart from the Word of God and only by His Holy Spirit of Truth. It is a challenge that cannot necessarily be met by those who would think that perfection is connected in any wise with good works and the physical learning processes of the minds of men. Some minds of men are brilliant and their learning processes are so acute that what they put into their minds stay. This type of learning has almost nothing to do with how people receive the Lord and how the Lord looks into our hearts and seals His Holy Love into our minds and hearts to stay.
It is the most difficult thing in the world to get it across to some people that the Word of God is only received and discerned through the Holy Spirit. To feel God in one’s heart and have His Presence by the Power of His Holy Spirit is more value than all the knowledge that the natural mind of man can try to obtain in private interpretations of the Word of God. It would be wise to know the sources of knowledge that is being spread around for there is so much out there that can trap the unsuspecting person who is seeking God. The men from the early church only received their knowledge direct from the Holy Spirit of Truth.
I wondered for a long time what it meant in Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. I eventually learned what it meant. They were receiving the Word of God and the Word of God was so precious they just could not leave it and do other things. By Holy Spirit Power the Lord was giving them the Word of God to preach and teach the Love Jesus has for all people. They were given Power to know how they should conduct themselves in worship. The Holy Spirit of Truth was upon these men so much, guiding them into the true things of God by His Power alone. They were given what to preach from the Precious Word of God so that people would repent, be saved and be baptized. They were given what to write down of this Precious Word of God so that we would have God’s Word without the error of the minds of men throughout the ages even to our time. (For men have even changed the Word of God to some extent in these recent years, with their own reasoning in some points.) The Apostle’s whole lives were centered on Jesus as they were led by the Holy Spirit to glorify the name of Jesus among themselves and among the new converts.
These men were not learned or educated as we think of men in most ministries today. Some were from the very least of backgrounds. Look at Peter and John as they were simple hard working fishermen, knowing their profession very well, but probably not educated men to even read and write. After Jesus ascended to the Throne of God and sent the Holy Spirit and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, they were able to teach and preach by the anointing of the Holy Spirit alone. The high priest of the Jews had to even acknowledge that they were unlearned and ignorant men. Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
I do not believe that Jesus had been brought up in man’s knowledge of the law or the scriptures. He proved that He is the very Word of God and has always been the Word of God for even ever since He was a child the lawyers and priests were astonished at His knowledge. (Luke 2:46-47) The scriptures also say in John 7:14-18 - Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. 15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
Apostle Paul Received The Gospel
Only By The Revelation of Jesus Christ
Galations 1:10-12 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Galations 1:15-18 - But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: 17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. 18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
Practically all men in ministry these days go to the universities to try to learn of the things of God and learn how to become ministers. They are under the misapprehension that to learn of the things of God, they must be taught by other men of higher learning. To a certain degree everyone may be taught by other men the simple Gospel of the salvation of Jesus by preachers and teachers. In the beginning it is necessary for those who have the gifts of the Spirit to teach and to preach the basics of Christ so people may be saved and receive Jesus.
When people receive Jesus they receive His Holy Spirit of Truth and from this point on everyone should start to follow the Holy Spirit to learn the true things of God’s Love that Jesus brought down to us and gave us in His Word. If all will follow the Holy Spirit to allow Him to lead them by His Power alone, He would surely bring forth God’s Love and seal it in their heart in the most perfect way. It is only by complete discernment through the presence of the Holy Spirit that all of us learn the deep Spiritual truths of the true perfection of God that each person is supposed to let take hold of their lives completely. If people would only seek Jesus in the proper way, by a complete humbling of one’s self and giving their life over to Jesus, they would start to receive into their heart the Perfect Love of Jesus. Man cannot teach this perfection, it must be taught by the Holy Spirit. It is only received through much prayer and thanksgiving and a yielding of one’s self unto the Lord through our daily walk with Him. It is so important to let the Holy Spirit lead each life in every way through this walk with the Lord.
Apostle Paul was probably the most educated of all the Apostles in the law of Moses. Yet Paul had to be re-educated in the proper way. He had to be re-educated from the earthly religious standpoint of God to the Spiritual Perfection of God’s Love that Jesus brought down to us all. I believe that Jesus did this in His own Perfect way as He personally made Paul His Apostle to the Gentiles. I believe that Paul was re-educated when he spent time in Arabia and in Damascus, even away from the other Apostles for three years. I believe Jesus personally gave Paul the same Power and Presence of God that He gave the other Apostles. When Paul let himself be yielded over to Jesus, Jesus gave him salvation first and when Paul yielded his life over to Jesus more, Jesus gave him Power to receive and Power to preach, teach and write the Word of God. In the Presence of God, God took Paul up in the spirit to what Paul referred to as the third Heaven in Second Corinthians, Chapter 12. This is what Paul is talking about when he said that he conferred not with flesh and blood, but only with Jesus. I also believe that at this time he was given revelations of great Spiritual Truths that God wanted him to know. God knows all things and knows just who he can really talk to and talk through. He picks the ones who will be obedient unto Him and will be submissive unto Him to give out the great Spiritual Truths that are necessary for each Christian to stay in the will of God.
What I am trying to say is: these men, these Spirit filled men, didn’t go to a seminary of men to be taught of men to receive the Holy Spirit of Truth. I believe that it should be the same now as then. For the Holy Spirit filled individual may only be given the power to preach the Gospel by God alone. The first men of God in the first church were baptized by the Holy Spirit when they first received Jesus and when they sought Jesus further the Spirit of God taught them the great knowledge of God without error and without the imperfections of the minds of men interfering with the true Gospel of Jesus. When they received Jesus in the proper way, they were also filled with the Spirit and given power to preach and power to do all the things that they are to do to the praise of the Glory of Jesus. May I also add that all who had the true filling of the Holy Spirit, there were great signs and wonders that followed them throughout their ministries.
People will say that these things were for the people then, but these things do not happen now. God, the Father, Jesus, the Son and the Holy Spirit did not change. Only some people want to justify their own religious beliefs and believe that God does not do the things through the church anymore that He intended the church to do all through the ages. God’s Word is the Highest authority in Heaven and Earth. He didn’t intend that His complete Word would only be for those in the beginning. His Word is forever and His Word says that these things shall follow those who believe as shown in the Gospel of Mark chapter 16:15-20. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
No one can get around these words. No one can justify their own beliefs by what doesn’t happen any more. If God’s truth does not happen in the eyes of the religious world, it is because God’s Power is not working in insincere and ignorant people’s lives. Where there is no Power of God, then there is nothing more than the power of men in religion. The Power of God is only achieved in the heart of sincere people who will let God into their lives in a more complete way. These things are only attained by people seeking more and more of Jesus. We all have to be patient and wait upon the Lord. His anointing upon each one of us only comes when He sees that we are ready for His Work and we are sincere to follow through. He is the Power of God in all the Work that we do. It cannot be done otherwise in our own strength. I will emphasize it more, It must not be done on our own!
Knowing The Mind of Christ
1Corinthians 2:1-16 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but by the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
It is so important for us to know the mind of the Lord that He may speak to our heart and instruct us in every facet of our Christian life. We cannot know the mind of Christ if we have so many other things that keep our minds occupied. This does not include our professional duties for the Lord gives us work to do to make a living, but while we work with our hands and minds, there remains a place in our hearts and minds where the Holy Spirit dwells and leads us so that we never lose touch with the realm of the Kingdom of God. We cannot do it on our own to always have Christ in the very for front of our thoughts no matter what we are doing. It can only be by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, by His Power alone leading us and letting us feel His Presence at all times. He does this when we stay in the will of God and keep ourselves clean and let Him always wash us from the world in God’s Glorious Word. To have the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is so important to keep us in this manner from the world. Oh, if we could only let Him do this at all times it would be a true Spirit filled body of Christ, undivided and with unlimited Power to do the work of the Lord. This is for all Christians and not just for the preachers and teachers. We are all to do the Lord’s Work as He calls us for each task.
I sort of feel that I let the Lord down in my Spiritual growth years ago, for it took me many years to come to the realizations of the real spiritual growth of the born again Christian. Once I let these things be revealed to me, I simply wanted to please God and continue to let His Holy Spirit fill my life with the never ending Love of Jesus and with the never diminishing Power of God to lead me into ministry. I feel at this time that there is nothing impossible with God. If He can take me and turn me around, and use me as I yield to Him, there is hope for everyone who would be yielded to Him.
To be spiritual, one must yield completely to the Spirit to let Him have control. Each person must keep growing in the Lord daily. One must learn of the true love of Jesus by only one way, and that is by the Holy Spirit of God teaching. He will only teach as one yields himself completely over to Jesus in humbleness and prayer at all times. I am just simple enough to read the scriptures and pray to God through the Holy Spirit that dwells in my being to lead and guide me in the perfect understanding that He wants me to have. For the scriptures are the Holy Spirit inspired writings of those men of God from the Old and New Testaments who had the Holy Spirit of Truth in them and His Power on them to work His Works in their lives. When God speaks to someone, the revelation is there, and the Holy Spirit of Truth speaks perfectly to that one to have the perfect understanding of what is said. It only happens when one’s walk is perfect with the Lord. Everyone’s walk with the Lord should be the most perfect walk that the Lord reveals to them.
When we seek to know Jesus, and when we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins, then He does forgive us. His atoning blood covers our sins and God remembers our sin no more. This mark of the blood of the HOLY LAMB OF GOD on our souls is the only atonement that is acceptable unto the Lord. This makes us clean and an acceptable habitation for the Spirit of God to be given to us for our daily growth in the Lord.
A great many people who call themselves Christians really do not comprehend who Jesus really was and what His death and resurrection really did for us all. They say they believe with their mouths, and they will, to a certain degree, do a worship unto Him, but only at certain times and certain places of their own choosing. I must say that those who cannot love Him with their whole heart cannot give themselves to Him completely. They cannot really worship Him and cannot follow the Word of God to lead them into God’s Love and Perfection. Those who cannot keep in constant communication through the Holy Spirit that dwells within at all times do not worship Him in Spirit. The scriptures teach that to be spiritual we must worship Him in spirit. His indwelling Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that Jesus is God’s Son, our Savior, our Master, our great teacher, our comforter, our complete healer of our body, soul and spirit. Yielding over to the Holy Spirit of Truth leads us to know that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings over our complete being. When we truly let Him come into our hearts completely we know that He has taken over our complete lives: body, soul and spirit and His Power and Presence will be in our lives to receive and to give God’s Love to everyone, even our enemies.
I cannot stress these spiritual truths enough. We cannot have Christ in us and at the same time have the world still influencing our lives, no not even a part of our lives. For Christ was not of this world, He was of the purity of the Father who sent Him. Thus, are we also of the purity of the Father through Jesus whose purity of His Love saves us if we let this Pure Love into our hearts to last forever. When we believe in Him and love Him with all that is within us we take Him all the way into our heart. If we can do this we will be pleasing unto our Holy God. We cannot just love Him on a part time basis, or just have thoughts of Him when we feel like it for a short time on the days we go to church or a short time each day of our lives. This relationship is for ever and I would think that a life time relationship should be treated in such a way that our heart is with our God at all times.
We are to love the Father as Jesus Loves the Father. Right along with our love for our Holy God, we are to love everyone as Jesus loves everyone. This is the commandment Jesus referred to in Matthew 22:37-40 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
If everyone could only understand the true meaning of this commandment Jesus gave: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, people would understand that to be a Christian, a true loving Christian, God’s Love would be the utmost part of their life and they would let the Holy Spirit fulfill it in their heart. I try to write and make it as plain as I can, that the things of God are not received by man’s wisdom and by one’s own wisdom. The things of God are only sought out of a true relationship with Jesus by His Holy Spirit of Truth teaching the Word of God to each heart that is willing to receive it all and let this Wonderful Word of God, Jesus cleanse them from the world as much as possible and not just in a half way manner.
Keeping the Lord in the heart and on one’s mind at all times in prayer and thanksgiving and a song of His Love in our heart is a sweet savor that goes up unto the Lord. He knows all about us, what we are thinking and what our priorities are at all times. Each one who believes, truly believes in Jesus, is the only Temple of God that He dwells in on this earth at this present time. This is no light thing, for who ever His Holy Spirit dwells in at this time He knows their heart and where there heart is and how He can bring that life to be in His Perfect Love if they really are sincere about having Him in their heart. It is of the utmost importance that we have God first in our lives and all things of God will come about in the proper order and in the proper growth in the Lord.

I believe that there would be Power to do the things Jesus would want people to do if they could only obey the Holy Spirit of Truth and let Him take complete control of their lives. For when He enters each heart He glorifies Jesus so much in that life that they have Jesus on their minds and their thoughts are single on Jesus at all times. If His people who go by His name, would voluntarily humble themselves at all times, recognizing Jesus as the Head over their lives, there would be Power, His Power in their lives to do the true will of God. There would be Power to overcome all obstacles, Power in prayer, and Power to do the work of a Christian. There would be Power to be a Christian, for we cannot be one in our own strength. We must have the Spirit of God in our being, dwelling there, and guiding and keeping the Love of Jesus in our heart at all times.
It is very scriptural to keep God on our minds at all times. Hebrews 13:15-16 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. I would ask the question: Can you love God with all of your being as Jesus gave commandment? A sad large percent of people who go by Jesus’ name err when they cannot keep the Lord God of their salvation on their minds and hearts at all times. I have heard preachers preach that God doesn’t expect us to do these things. This is the wisdom of the unanointed world and the thoughts of a worldly people who want religion in their lives, and so they have religion, a professional attachment to religion, separate and apart from a true Holy Spirit relationship with their Savior.
I believe that we should take heed who we listen to and who we should go to for help. I believe the scriptures like Hebrews 13:15-16 are self explanatory and if a person feels that he cannot let this portion of the Word of God enter into his heart he should humble himself and pray even more to let the Lord speak to his heart. This is the best advice that I can give, for only the Lord can show that one the correct way.
Jesus said that we should pray to the Father behind closed doors and in secret and the Father will reward you openly. He said when we pray we should hallow His name and give praise and adoration unto a Holy God. He said that the Father knows our needs, but that we should ask for our needs. If we are His child through Jesus who saves us, then He knows us and He knows how to care for His child. God, who is the only perfection for us and in us will take perfect care of His obedient child if we would only let Him. This is a great spiritual truth, for one to be obedient unto Him at all times means to love Him with an unceasing love.
We should love our Heavenly Father in this manner because we were put here for no other reason than to be the obedient sons and daughters of God. The fear of God in the hearts of men and women is really the love that we should have for God. I fear only one thing, that I might displease Him; that I might get out of His will by listening to much to everything that is in the world and thinking it might be something good for me to know. I also fear that I might put too very much of myself into what I say about Him and not enough of what the scripture says about Him and what the Holy Spirit says about Him in teaching me. I only strive for one thing and that is to be pleasing in my Heavenly Father’s eyes. I only want to love Him as Jesus puts His love in my heart. The Holy Spirit brings this into my heart from the scriptures and shows me how to be obedient unto the Father and unto Jesus. He shows me how to love as Jesus commanded us to love. He said, love God first and then everyone, no matter if they are born again or of the world. If we do this all good things of God’s Blessings in Jesus will come into our lives. As we continue to let Him come into our lives everyday His Perfection will take over our lives so we may Walk Perfect With Him in His Perfect Love for all eternity.
Walk Perfect With God
By His Holy Spirit of Truth
I walk with God in His Perfect Love,
Giving all Praise to Him that is above.
His Perfect Love is all I need in my life
His Perfect Love gave Power to end strife.
I have walked with God in all His Beautiful way,
For He hath given me His Spirit to show me each day
How to Glorify and please the Holy One of my soul,
The Holy One, Jesus, whose blood hath made me whole.
